The first two halls opened up for visitors in May 1961 and till 1965 the exposition expanded into five halls where the beginnings of rail transportation and wagon production in our area were presented as well as the history of the comapny till 1960 or the development of the individual rail vehicle parts. Currently, the museum has three vestibules and six exhibition halls.

The rooms of museum take place in three floors and are connected by a spiral staircase, owing to that fact the museum is not accessible for disabled people in wheelchair.

There is a panel with functional railway line in one of the rooms.
